Griet, 3 months old & fascinated by the cool clear water of the Voshmid stream. To this day she prefers drinking from running water.
I worked on the North Harris Estate as a "River Watcher" during Summer 2001, and Griet accompanied me on my daily walks from about 10 weeks of age. She turned out to be a real trooper doing up to 8 miles a day over bogs & moors & up & down mountain ridges.
