Lews Castle in Stornoway as seen from Gallows Hill on the Castle Grounds. It isn't a "true" castle, i.e. it wasn't built as a defensive structure, but as a residence. It later saw service as a school, but presently stands empty & derelict. It will apparenty cost £10 million to make habitable again.
