CARAMEL DESSERT

Ingredients

Method

  1. Mix butter & sugar.
  2. Add egg.
  3. Then add lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda & apricot jam.
  4. Mix in flour & milk in turn.
  5. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for one hour in an oven proof bowl.

Caramel Topping

Method

  1. Simultaneously boil all the ingredients for 2 minutes & pour on dessert when it comes out of the oven.
  2. Bake again until caramelised.
  3. Serve hot with cream and/or ice cream.
